First of all let me try to explain what I have been able to find out.
This situation began with SPQ and KWG. From what I understand FWR uses Webequie Logistics to move gear in and out I suppose. Consequently I do not believe that FWR has any problems going in or out. I still haven't verified this yet but I will.
SPQ and KWG have been utilizing the services of Billiken and Matrix logistics. The band from around Marten Falls believes that they should be using Marten Falls Logistics. I suppose this in an attempt to garner more of the pie.
I have delved into both Billiken and Matrix and from what I understand Billiken hires and has on the job, members of our First Nations.
Also, we all know that Cliffs is with KWG or is part of them so I don't know how this aspect of the problem will effect them.
The other thing I considered was the fact that NN is head of SPQ and for years has been on the front line working with our brothers! He has a good number of years up in the area.
Since I have found this all out it seem now that there will be many of these shift if position as we move forward. This is one of those Chess moves IMHO.
I have also been informed that Noront has been aware and has been stocking goods, fuel etc at a few locations. I believe one is Nakina. Could always be wrong. Anyway, Noront has stockpiled with the intention of flying the equipment in by Hercules on the inland lake but it sounds now that they (Noront) may not be able to. It was a good plan though and is something that could be "fixed" by Wes.
There is also a story that I am following. Unfortunately there aren't too many on the forum who could fill in the holes.
As it is told to me, there is a rivalry between Webequie and Marten Falls that goes back many many years. I believe it begins with land disputes or something of that sort. So tossed into all of this, is what some call the dispute over the Ancestral ownership of the area by the Marten Falls Group.
I am not trying to muddy waters but to keep people informed.
There is also a good article in the Thunder Bay Chronicle Journal. Following is the link if you are interested.

My intention all along with this issue is to inform. NOT to bash NOT. We are all in this together. We must stay informed. Especially during these times.
I would also like to say that as another wise poster has stated or suggested, there will be several of these as the ROF moves forward. This is all part of the positioning. The First Nations want immediate response so they wait until the start of the Winter drill program. A tactic picked up from the unions? A good move by them anyway. Now they have everyones' attention.
