Neat Edgy. Building a railroad over muskeg is no small feat. The rails move up and down opposed to each other, and the travel is very slow. There is the ONR I believe from North Bay to James Bay and I don't how much it is used. Also, the CN I believe from Winnipeg to Churchill hauling grain, and then shipped by boat through the Hudson Straight to Europe. There is controversy over the North West passage, ownership and "free passage" which could be helpful if issues could be resolved. All of this I mention as it wasn't easy to do and while not really related it is. And, would the government build a railroad now? There is no money? Big talk? I don't know.

Same problem with building a road. There are a lot of rivers and lakes up there. You can bridge a river, but a lake is...I don't know if that has ever been done.

And I know, engineers can solve many problems. I am pointing out how difficult it all is. It is more than likely why everyone is sitting back. How to get it out. Who is going to do that. You bet CLF needs FWR cheap if that is their intention.

It will be done. That I believe. Because, what we have up there is so massive, that it will have to be done. Just, not ok, we will do it and it will be done. My humble opinion.

The main point being, if one really realises how difficult it will all be, one has to realise how much there is up there for it to even be contemplated.

vermillion.
