just got 1500 pieces at 1,68 .. Why ?

had a buy order in .. that went just now at 1,68
my thinking was; put a order in at 1,68 so that at the opening it will be filled at the going price at that time.

Never new that orders could get filled before opening..

Does this sound familair to someone?
I use interactive brokers.
