Message: KWG also on CBC Radio

I was at the Thunder Bay Chamber of Commerce AGM last night. I spent a few hours talking to a suprisingly large turnout of company representatives. Mr. Novak was there as well. Pretty well representation from a several plays.

I had a great time chatting with many about the issues we are dealing with today. Much of Frank's presentation, there was really very little technically that we don't already know or could read from a brochure. The emphasis was on small business, whether involved in mining or not, have many opportunities to maximize profits/potential etc.. I'm sure many of you have heard this stuff before.

Again I am amazed that I attended one of these functions where they had a question and answer period. So they ask: Any questions? And not a single solitary soul get up to ask a question. I just cannot believe how people let these golden opportunities go by.

Much of the talk centered around KWG and Cliffs so there really isn't that much to say on this forum.

I will say this though. The meeting was well attended by representatives of our First Nations some of whom I chatted with as well.

There is always one more thing...:) Last night I did not hear the term "blockade". I did hear a lot of "negotiations" though. Everyone standing in groups and chatting.
