Rarely is truth absolute as in 1+1=2, and even that is based on our common definition or agreement.
Too often it is relative and depends on the individual presenting it. In other words, it is qualified by our experience and knowledge. Lack of one or the other limits our ability to state it in absolute terms. And being human we all to lesser or greater degree are limited.
This could be read as - We rarely speak The Truth, but only as we know or perceive it.

With the above explanation, I believe I have never criticized you as to whether you spoke 'the truth' or not. Hope I never will.
And yes I have appreciated your comments in the past even if memory serves me, there must have been a few I did not agree with.
