I enjoyed your analysis crazydik and it's pretty much bang-on. In my case I was into NOT because of Windfall, made a nice amount of money on KXL which I promptly used to ad to my NOT holding (with good reason, I thought) and then, of course, got whacked by the freight train. As you say, I take some solace in knowing that the money was never destined for my matress.

One little part that you didn't mention is that in the early days in the RoF it looked like there was nickel ore all over the place. I wonder how different things might have been if all that chromium ore had been nickel ore instead.
