There has been much selling into the bid recently but suddenly a cork has been put in it. What does it mean?

Here are my thoughts on that. During the weekend, Bob who deals with Genuity and Paul who deals with CIBC are offerred an opportunity of a lifetime to invest in the mother of investments...or they just got tired of Noront or feel the world commodities will crash very soon or whatever-there are always lots of reason to sell, only one reason to buy!

In both cases, they call their brokers pre market on Monday the 1st of February and say sell all my shares in Noront. Well, Bob has 1.5M shares and ditto for Paul. Their brokers both tell them it will take a week and expect to not get asking price if you want to move that many shares that fast. Everyone agrees but they do not know about each other. So the selling starts but now, instead of 1.5M shares flooding the market, we have 3M shares, all sold into the bid within a week.

This takes the price down to very unreasonable levels but the brokers told their clients it would take a week...

Now those shares are gone. Everyone is a little shell shocked so they are afraid to start buying again so we have a stand still for a few days (yesterday and today). Once everyone realizes that there are no more big sellers punishing us, we will have a little flurry of buying to bring us back to a reasonable level-keeping in mind the uncertainty of the logistic halt. What will that number be...somewhere between $1.65 and $1.80 would be my best guess (Sum, please do not crusify me if I am wrong here). From there, to sustain a higher SP, we need significant news, or a new big buyer aka another Clarus. Until then we will tread water.

Good luck to all,

Glorieux

PS Here are the house positions from February 1st till now. Please note the difference between the 2nd net biggest seller CIBC and the 3rd net biggest seller Octagon. This should help everyone realize that if it was not for Genuity/CIBC dumping these 3M shares so fast, our share price would of never hit such a low! Those who noticed and filled up their stockings, a big congrats to you!
