I did not take into account Herb's idea of a Hydro line from Manitoba across N. Ontario, tieing the grids together. That seems the best with long term plans in mind. Thanks Herb.

However the diesel plant is a diversion financially and a short minded decision, imo.
It could be used as a local back up if finally building a main line. I do not know if that is practical.
