Yes it can.... sometimes. I look at where a considerable pool of shares is waiting to be picked up and who is wanting them, and again, given the current state of "doubt", it is a likely sp to come down to.... so I set up a buy order for that sp and oingo boingo ...I pick up a chunk at 1.38 today. Of course it doesn't always work but you have nothing to lose by trying it and nothing do gain if you don't....provided you have the cash. Mine came from selling the same chunk at 1.44-1.48. I run the risk of losing if the sp takes off on good news, but it's still profit to balance out other risks I take by holding.
