You also have to consider the type of news and be able to classify it as to whether it results in immediate profit, fairly soon or in the future but looking good. If it is not immediate then the sp is going to go down, if not right away, over time. I anticipated that it would go down pretty substantially after that big rise. Too much profit to be had in too dicey a market. You can almost guarantee people are going to take it and that will start the down turn. Others will want to help it along as they will want in cheaply later. As IAS states, it happens to every stock. On Trading Chief there seems to be a motto..... "every stock is a piece of %$#@". Suffice to say it means that you should trust no stock to make you rich easily and all of them will disappoint you as they get played.... or they play you. When we understand these things we get surprised so much less.
