Nice news today

Today's news of tripling our nickel tonnage was just great, and what some of us had been expecting to hear for some time.

I agree with all who think it's high time that NOT got listed on the TSX, and gained some sorely needed first class publicity.

Shareholders have been pushing for this for a long time.Listing on a major exchange would enhance recognition and bring in many new investors, especially Americans who have never heard of Noront. Many Americans refuse to buy on the Venture Exchange because of its reputation of extreme manipulation. (Also true of the U.S. over the counter market) Hello? We're all surely familiar with manipulation!

Long ago Richard Nemis was talking about the importance of TSX listing . I guess he was overuled by the new BOD, because remaining UNlisted meant that Shareholder approval would not be necessary in any merger or acquisition deals. Made things easier for the BOD to control.

Others have said it, and I repeat, it is essential that NOT get major publicity before we're taken out by a greedy Major for peanuts. Obviously the OSC doesn't care about manipulation and looks the other way (as does the SEC) which is so hurtful to the little guy. Institutional control of trading is blatant.

Maybe Noront should hire the Good Year Blimp and let thousands of great News Releases flutter down all over Bay Street. That would get some attention! :)

Hoping we'll have more fine insights from Larry and SN and others, who have been schmoozing at the PDAC.
