Provide protection to investors from unfair, improper and fraudulent practices
What does this mean? If your a retail investor with an at home trading platform and try and put in small bids at the end of the day or buy/sell with little attemts to make the SP look good or bad at the end of the day or before market you will get a very swift call from your provider telling you that your attempting to manipulate the market and next will come the stock cops. At the same time the stock cops don't look at anything that the provider does as they are professionals and as such should know the laws. Now those laws are studied for every loophole and twist so that retailers, who have no tools or idea as to what to do to influence the SP legaly, end up confused and at the mercy of their broker/provider, but you can bet that the institutions who know the law can see what is realy happening. You notice how when an offer comes for a company they are quick to quote the price is calculated using a SP average over a set time. That this price is fair according to the fair market price. What is not said is that the people wanting the target are controling that average price and have influenced it legaly over the past months before the offer. The stopper to the influence people is how many can be influenced to not buy or to go against the program. Noront went against the program with Richard and again now with Wes and we are seeing the punishment before and now. Eventualy money rules out and even enemys come together for cash. JMO
