"imo, NOT's offer at $0.395 for FWR set a precedent to value RoF assets as low as possible, forgetting that they might hurt their own value."
Now, I went to the news release on Oct. 13th (about 7 pages into the news tab at left) and this is what the offer actually stated...
"Pursuant to the Offer, each holder of Common Shares ("Shareholder") will receive 0.25 of a Noront common share and C$0.0001 in cash for each Common Share tendered under the Offer."
Get off the cash value garbage already... Noront made a "share offer", not a cash offer. Cliffs did a "combo offer" where they had to have X number of shares and then they would pay cash for them... didn't happen...
We'll never know which offer was better in the long run, unless you can stop time and make it go backwards and see what would have happened to the Noront share price if they had won the takeover battle with Cliffs...........
In other words, unless you are able to make time go backwards, let's move on already... enough!!!
Wonder where Noront is going to fall to... I've still got a bit of cash in my account :-} and those day traders types are not going to get my shares... on the contrary, I just may get some of theirs a bit cheaper yet... I'm guessing I have about 8 days left yet... based on the last terrific news that we got from hole 49.
God Bless all Noront Investors.
