I did not make that statement. However the question still begs an answer. If everyone is under strict instructions to cooperate fully, why is the airport not permitted? If there is a safety issue, why not simply say so, and allow efforts to correct the faults?

Possibly the blockade is there for another purpose, such as providing a reason to hold up any further exploration until some other agenda is fulfilled.
