I'm also in favour of cooperation but more inclined to an unofficial status. By that I mean, no formal incorporation, therefore no expenses or fees but a loose and informal club per say.

Should an issue arise with the company on which we need to vote, the question arises - do we vote individually but with recommendation from the club or do we assign a proxy to a club representative to vote in person at any company meeting such as AGM. I think the latter has more clout.

Should we go the latter, or even a formal version, then someone or a few people would need to be elected or appointed to represent the retail association.

A name would be needed such as a descriptive one - Noront Retail Shareholder Association. Anyone with a catchy one?
