Message: New 43-101 explanation??

"I must be retarded or something but the 0.5 cuttoff is indicating 2.31% Ni."

Not retarded, do not be so hard on yourself. This forum exists just for this purpose, to pose questions and provide explanations.

The 2.31% is an average of all the grades for 0.5% up to the highest found i.e. well above 8%.

Note as the cutoff grade increases the lower grades are not included in the average calculation, so the average increases.

Cheer up, Ed.
