By early April, 1995 Robert Friedland was almost ready to stage his auction for the first piece of Voisey's Bay. The Innu protest had fizzled; a management contract with the prospectors was within reach; Diamond Fields head office was moving to Vancouver;the nickel deposit was getting bigger with each new drill test.....
