Yes, Edgy, it is disinterest to a point, and it appears too many are missing a great opportunity. There may be a very good reason for that.
Can anybody give me a good reason for buying here? Oh, yes, I know it is a good buy and at prices that amounts to stealing. That's just my view, and many here share it. I believe it and so I've acted and I'm on the train. Now if that conductor would just call out " all aboard!! " and the train engine start chugging. I know I'm dating myself back to the days of the steam engine, but that's the way it went. Once the wheels began to roll slowly, there was a rush to get on board.
There is lots of money waiting for the right moment and it will come. But with this shaky economy, the memory of the crash still fresh in investors minds, and many still trying to recover from it, people who are unsure of their jobs, and maybe some other good reasons to hold off. Then there are plenty of problems to be solved. Agreements with First Nations would top the list as well as some significant signs that infranstructure will move from talk to action. We do have an economic start to a producing mine, but that is still years away from producing. So what's the hurry?
A week or two ago Donald Coxe was being interviewed on BNN and he is very high on resource stocks. He made a very good comment that I had heard a few years back. He told the interviewer that he would rather buy a stock that was mentioned on page 16 of the newspaper, and working its way to page one. He would rather pass on the stocks already on page one because they are usually fully valued. The money is made on the stocks not yet on page one. Sounds a lot like Noront to me.
I just don't like the wait to get to page one. I know I have lots of company, and its good company. Unfortunately, none of us can rush it. That includes the CEO and whoever else is working hard to move the process closer to page one.
When the right news comes I foresee a rush to get one board that will give us all the " high " of our lives. That is, unless you have been fortunate to have had one before. Hope we are all around for it.
