I see your point and understand your desire for knowledge. However, the privacy issue, though possibly not really being the issue, is valid. Sensitive information as it applies to corporate tactics, is being handled, in theory, on your behalf by those in a position to know what would be best for the company in building SH value via M&A or protecting the company from unwanted interest. Knowledge is power. If you have it and others don't then you have the advantage. Give people your critical numbers and they'll empty your bank account.
