"It was good news to hear that we will be drilling starting at 1200m down from hole 49 so drill time is cut WAY DOWN"
My first thought on this is that we would be able to guage their success on how long they stayed on hole 49, as they would continue as long as there was mineralization or the potential for it. However logic says that since they intend to use the hole for downhole geophysics they will simply drill as deep as they can right off, do the geophysics, and determine the wedge hole locations from that. Hole 49 is not intended to hit mineralization.
With the above having been said, hole 49 was never intended to hit mineralization, but the fact that it did resulted in a tripling of our resource. My greatest dream would be that they dip in and out of the orebody a couple of times and then hit constant mineralization from 1700m on.
We had a report that they were assembling the first big drill about 2 weeks ago. It is a safe bet that they have been drilling now for a week. If they can conservativey average 30m/day, they should be at the 1700m by the middle of next week. If they do hit mineralization on the way down will they try to contain it, or will they let it leak?
Best regards
