TA is still a tool to get people to trade the way a certain group of people wants them to... and some people actually profit from this. To predict where an sp goes because of the shape of a chart is humourous.... but get enough people to believe it and it becomes true.... a self fulfilling prophecy. When you know what the herd is going to do it's very easy to profit by it, so set up rules for the herd to follow and looky looky what happens. Problem is that the players set up the rules, make the circumstances and then collect as they are way ahead of the herd and know exactly where it's going to go.
