Someone needs to set this guy straight, he is not up to date and should not be making comments like this.

Local MPP Gilles Bisson (NDP — Timmins-James Bay) said the project will likely be developed later rather than sooner. "Prior to the throne speech, 50% of the land north of 51 was designated as protected," Bisson said. "The government has not changed environmental regulations for permitting a new mine. It's a slow and difficult process. "In the end, the Ring of Fire will not be a reality for another seven to 10 years."
