From a business standpoint - Wes needs to make share holders happy.
If you (general "you" - not picking on anyone) had to do the same task - would you chose to make 39% (retail) happy or would you chose to make 59% (institutions) happy.
Knowing that we are the minority, and how the big guys play the game is somewhat of an advantage - they have to move millions of shares to realize their gains - where most of us measure our share holdings in thousands.
Meaning that we can average down easier (especially given the recent trend) - the stock is very liquid by our standards - and we don't have to answer to a bunch of complaining investors (although my wife is getting pretty close to the complaining stage).
My point is we have time on our side - to balance delution (PP's) vs. gains.
Why would the "big boys" want the share price lower.....to average down their investments.....to hold for larger gains.....so why not do the same.....if they didn't believe that this had the potential for some nice returns they wouldn't be in with 59% ownership.
When/IF I see a corporate presentation that shows institutional ownership has gone down to 25% - then I would be seriously concerned.....
We have some amazing stuff in the ground and we are still punching holes - can't wait to see what the next few months brings!
GLTA - Cheers,
