NOT Comrades,
For those of you that find yourselves questioning the OSC's directives and abilities to enforce the laws, you have to start at the top. OSC Board has the duties enforce as shown in the following:
ONTARIO SECURITIES COMMISSION
The Ontario Securities Commission (OSC or the Commission), as the regulatory body responsible for overseeing the capital markets in Ontario, administers and enforces the Securities Act (Ontario) and the Commodity Futures Act (Ontario) (together the Acts) and certain provisions of the Business Corporations Act (Ontario)
. The mandate of the Commission is to provide protection to investors from unfair, improper or fraudulent practices and to foster fair and efficient capital markets and confidence in their integrity.
Say's it right there. Makes you wonder about the confidence factor, with replies that leave you wondering! If you find the topic of manipulation "tiresome", ... yet entertaining, and you are indeed invested in this company. It should be only natural to "feel" wronged. If you do not you are in denial and should reality check yourself. Being critical of those that react is also an unhealthy reaction. As a youngster, I learned early the ways of deception and minipulation in a game of street marbles. Being about 4-5 years old at the time, marbles were my world. I had quite a collection of the best around. Clearies, Clays, Bennies...and my prized large steel marble. An older kid from another street had convinced me that he would put up additional marbles to cover if I played the steel marble. I had agreed to this and once the game began, I watched him twist the rules and openly cheat and take advantage of kids that were much younger. Then in an instant he ran off and was gone with all our marbles and ..indeed it was a raw feeling to be sure...I think I cried most the way back home. Later this emotion turned to anger and a lesson learned. Anyone messing with my marbles is someone I will be weary of, ask questions of, and be vigilant of. Turning the other cheek or accepting the defeat is not a natural human trait unless you are forced to submission. As a shareholder it's should be of paramount importance to know if your investment is being "played with". I watched the entire trading day on Thursday as players bought up and down and sideways and at the end of the day report the houses show losses on trades for shares that probably don't exist. They are content to control their shadowy game for now as no one is watching. You have shareholder rights....they are also human rights. Collectively the little guy will have a chance when they are part of a group, click below to learn more: http://faircanada.ca/top-news/ontario-report-endorses-fair-canada-recommendations/ If you an admitted long and you hold your shares with the belief of "payoff" down the road. You must steward your shares, be nourishing and parental to see this happen. Again it's human nature to be upset if your kid is getting beat up at school...or if your shares are taking a beating in the market. Will you let your shares graduate or will you succumb and send your shares to the orphanage? Off topic or not. Right or wrong. Read and Ignore. Speak out or be silenced. You have the power. mynot
