Burnt Hill Deposit Project - New Brunswick

The Burnt Hill tungsten project consists of 4 blocks, totaling 51 mineral claims comprising approximately 816 hectares (2,040 acres) in Stanley Parish of York County in west-central New Brunswick.

Lizar Project - Ontario

Noront acquired the property from Freewest Resources Canada Inc. (FWR:TSX-V), whose exploration activities over the last 5 years on it, resulted in the discovery of several new high-grade gold occurrences.

The Lizar property consists of 504 claim units, or 81 square kilometres and is situated in Lizar, Breckenridge, Namiegos and Mosambik townships, 500 kilometres east of Thunder Bay and 90 kilometres east of the Hemlo gold mining operations near Marathon.

Iron Lake Project - Ontario

Noront Resources Ltd. entered into an Option Agreement dated July 26, 2007, whereby the Company optioned 97 leased claim grid units located in Keating and Killins Township located within the District of Algoma, northern Ontario and referred to as Iron Lake, from J.C. Archibald B.Sc. Geol (Trustee) as the legal representative of the J.A. Syndicate Group, the beneficial owner.

Under the terms of the option agreement with Archibald, in consideration of the sum of $5,000 paid to Archibald, the Company may earn an undivided 80% right, title and interest in the claims in consideration for the Company expending on work costs $50,000 during the period commencing on the date of the agreement until December 31st, 2007.

The Company further has the right to earn the balance of the remaining 20% interest by paying to Archibald, a further $10,000 on or before December 31st, 2008 and paying the second years rental payment at the sole discretion of the Company.

Hunters Point Project - Ontario

The Hunters Point property consists of 13 cells totaling 763 hectares in the northeast corner of Atwater Township in Temiscamingue County, Quebec.

In early 2005, an additional 5 properties were staked to cover areas of known uranium mineralization. The claims may be reached by road from St. Placide de Bearn, 35 miles to the northwest or by float plane from Kipawa, 17 miles to the southwest.

Volcan One Project

Noront has an Option Agreement for the acquisition of a 100% interest in the Volcan 1 Copper/Nickel Property located in the state of Baja California South on the west coast which consists of 1522.1 acres.

El Verde Project

Noront has an Option Agreement with a Mexican National (Optionor) for the acquisition of a 100% interest in the "El Verde" zinc, copper, silver property located approximately 26 km north-northwest of the town of Choix consisting of 696 acres.

Escondida Project

Noront signed a Letter of Intent to acquire a 100% interest in the Escondida property located approximately 70 miles east of Ciudad, Obregon in the State of Sonora, Mexico. The property consists of 84.7 acres and covers the strike of the known mineralized zone.

China One Project

Noront's wholly owned China subsidiary BaoTou Noront Mineral Development Co. Ltd. acquired a 100% interest in the China One Copper/Gold Project. The permit covers 5.16 square kilometres in area. Noront has had a long history of dealings in China where several representative "grab" samples were selected by management from two very old exploration pits.

Mid-Matra Project

This exploration agreement covers approximately 30 square km and was recently granted to Noront's partners on behalf of Noront. After Noront has spent three times (approximately $60,000) the cost of the permit acquisitions, Noront will have earned a 75% interest in the property. Noront will act as Operator to continue the exploration work with costs being shared on a 75%-25% basis
