B-Jay I am in agreement:

The region is remote because of lack of easy transportation acces. Build an all year road or even a rail line and it no longer will be remote.

Winter road - Maybe so in the short time but eventually we all will have to have a rail line because that is the cheapest transportation available, barring some innovation.
Wes is just playing political games ( propaganda by an old name) with the winter road vs rail line. That should not be a surprise, he has an agenda and it would prefer if Cliffs were not part of it.

Road access depends on the Ontario government. They need to realize that this region is the future and they need to get off their butts and build it. Of course they are in budget deficit but postponing the road delays the benefits of the region which are primarily jobs and taxes from all the goings on. Taxes is what governments live on, Hello?

Rail line will likely be built by Cliffs and probably in partnership with other companies in the region and enhanced by tax benefits for a few years from the Ontario government.
