I do not keep track of my day trading portion but it has been profitable.

Mind you I am not speaking of just Noront stock. I deal in at least a dozen stocks at a time and concentrate on one to three at a time. Noront is one at this time.
I deal through 3 brokers and with four accounts due to commissions varying on quantity traded.
Finally, I rarely trade more than 10% of what I long hold in any stock.
I trade 500 or 1000 share blocks. Price goes down a bit I buy 500, it goes a bit more, another 500 and so on. Same with sells when the price goes up.
This method keeps me sane while waiting with my long holds for the big profits which rarely come.
No it is not as profitable as just long holding but it provides some cash on a more regular basis and works well for the psychee by keeping me from getting depressed in this global economy.
