"Some people on this forum suggest that NOT is trying to "Fly under the radar to avoid becoming a takeover target by not releasing news". The approach that Maple Leaf is taking seems to genuinley protect minority shareholders against a takeover.... I'm not sure that is really what NOT wants"
So what do you think? Moreover, what is your point? Are you aware of any existing rights plans for NOT? Do you think that these plans truly deter a large company, particularly when they also have the ability to depress an sp to offset dilution? Look at SPQ, they aren't relying on their rights plan to save them but are finding safety in numbers. So what is it that you think NOT really wants? C'mon now, I'm truly interested. By the way did you get burned holding FWR, that is to say not enough return for your expectations.... owing to the sellout of management.... such that every board must be the same?
