If you want a comparison, try CYP. They are at 2600m, have lost the hole 3 times, and are cautiously averaging 22m/ day. If you have never been there it is impossible to describe the logistics involved in pushing 2.6 km of pipe into the ground when you only have control of one end of it, and getting the other end to where you want it. The first and absolute must is a very hearty amount of patience.
