Message: CLIFFS OUT OF CASH? FROM FNC BOARD - RELEVANT TO NOT

Hi rago

I agree with you! Cliffs probably wants NOT's chrome in order to keep her monopoly on North American chrome. (See my post below of a few days ago). I would think that WES would sell NOT's chrome readily.

A major piece of this puzzle is FNC. After KWG, don't you think they are most vulnerable because of their adjacent property and goodies (chrome?) in the ground?

"In 2007, Noront discovered a nickel, copper, platinum and palladium discovery called Eagle One (renamed Eagle's Nest) Since then, Noront has also discovered the Eagle Two, nickel, copper discovery and the AT-12 nickel, copper, platinum and palladium discovery, a Vanadium discovery called Thunderbird and a gold zone called the Triple J Gold Zone."

Something is missing here...

It's very strange that Noront has not once mentioned its CHROME deposit in the above Company Overview, or in its 2011 Profile.

I think Wes might be planning to sell NOT's CHROME deposit to Cliffs, providing the necessary funds to continue NOT's aggressive drilling operations at Eagles Nest, AT12 etc.

NOT certainly isn't going to mine the chrome, so it would be a smart move bringing in some smart dollars.
