"Hey DS.....you assume the news has to be good!"

The news relating to other assets of Noront can be anything, But when it comes to Eagle's Nest and deep drill results in particular, the news has to be good, great or even fantastic. We are looking for a continuation of the resource or it's origin. It could not have come out of nowhere.

Good, if the results are similar to average from shorter drills.

Great if above average and resource continues to depth.

Fantastic, if results are not only above average but the intercepts are greater in length than average from shallow drills. i.e. A larger concentration or extension along core.

I am not speaking of 6% nickel or tens of grams of platinum, both would be fine But of net value of the cores. If any of the cores show lengthy sections 10+ meters that are worth $1000 or more per ton than that is great news.

Note that not all drills have to hit great intercepts. Drills when exploring are not for the purpose of defining a resource but of finding where it is and if it is. Additional or in-fills are used to define a resource. These deep ones are basicly exploratory, so do not be surprised if one is a practical dud.
