So Xstrata has difficulties in South Africa but apparently not in Canada per that news.
The Kidd mine in Timmins nears exhaustion. Operations to 9200 feet (2.8Km) and facing extension to 9500 feet to extend life to 2017.
(Note we are going past 2Km with drillings at Eagle's Nest, so should not be a problem for mining.)
Good timing for Noront's copper etc.?
