Interesting that once something positive is posted there is an immediate outcry for proof. Rightly so. Likewise it should be that those posting the negative should be questioned as to the merit of their position. Behind the psychology, the positive camp partly focuses on data, extrapolation, positive histories while the negative camp focuses on history of past failures whether geological or corporate and the potential for repetition.
A thoughtful balance between the two is a healthy approach. You'll have to monitor your responses as to whether you have achieved balance or whether you sit too heavily in one camp or another.
