An explanation for meals is Cliffs is taking over/sharing their camp (which was originally Freewest's) with Fancamp at the end of the month. They originally allowed Fancamp to use their camp until the end of the month, until they arrive. However, due to deep drill delays and Crone delays, Cliffs and Fancamp will be sharing camp beginning next month.

Anyone still think Cliffs isn't going for Fancamp next? Anyone think Fancamp and Cliffs haven't already come to an "arrangement." Let's line up a series of events and come to a conclusion:

1) Smith originally said he wasn't going to drill the chromite at C-5.

2) Then he changed his mind, drilled C-5, and found what they "expected." Some believed Smith was convinced to drill by Mac. It just as well could have been Cliffs who asked him through Mac.

3) Shares issues for new hire with lawyer expertise who will be dealing with Magpie/Sheridan legal issues but also possibly with Cliffs' possible contractual arrangements.

4) Smith and Fouade initially said 3 to 6 months to finish Magpie metallurgical tests. Shortly after Cliffs said they've got majority shares of Spider and JV's are in the bag, Smith began leaking that he's pushing up Magpie metallurgical tests to a month. For those who don't live and breath Fancamp, Magpie is the apple in many an eye because by delivering on this property, the shareholders keep their shares and get a bonus dividend. In other words, one doesn't have to cash out to profit. If Cliffs is coming to an arrangement with Fancamp for McFaulds, or if they can't come to a friendly arrangement and Smith suspects a foul hostile takeover offering he knows shareholders will approve, then he can only benefit by getting Magpie sold before Cliffs makes a moves.

5) Since Cliffs announced that JV's are in the bag, he's up the urgency to go deep. This may reflect the urgency to get SP up there before Cliffs makes an offer. I suppose I'm reaching by saying that coinciding all this is Noront's drilling AT-1. This of course could be the spur for Smith to go deep. But the timing is mighty coincidental that Smith has allowed Wes to go over Fancamp land with collars and scans right around when Cliffs started takeover offer for SPQ and KWG. A helpful conclusion is that we can assume Wes and Smith are talking and cooperating. Smith even said that he's waiting for Noront to conclude with deep drills before the drills are moved onto his land, and that Noront is having deep drill delays, so he's got to be patient.

Is it coincidental that after all this time we've been waiting, Noront is now excited about going deep at step-outs? I think this reflects both companies concern for their SP, whether it's due to discouragement from lack of interest or anticipation of a Cliff's offer. This is good for all shareholders, when so often we feel neglected. I think both CEO's have aligned their interests with ours for now.

6) Noront release NR teasing us that they are exploring areas in nearby vicinity of E-Nest.

7) Have we ever seen such a gag on leaks as Noront and Fancamp have exercised. If the gag is due to the fact that Cliffs is lurking, how long can it be maintained if when Cliff's moves into camp? Many think lack of leaks is due to lack of good cores. I think that this is second round digging and it's a different environment then when Noront first hit nickel. Before, Nemis wanted everyone to know they'd found great stuff. I think now companies want to prove things up first as more attention is on them, big-time investors, government is watching, legal issues surround them. These guys are geologists and having all sort of attention on them that can get them sued creates a lock-down reaction. Therefor lack of leaks is simply a gag in the mouth or get fired for leaking or acting with inside knowledge.

Side Note: It is impressive that Smith managed to get double the drill meters for his money. He either got an extraordinary deal or Cliffs paid for some of the holes. Did Noront get the same cost per meter. Are they using the same drill company?

CONCLUSION: exciting summer ahead for both companies. It is possible that both companies are gearing up to News Release the SP upwards in readiness for an increased average when Cliffs makes their offers. So get ready for lots of news releases. How far down will Noront's over 50% institutional investors tolerate the decreased SP?

If Hubleaders feel this post should be on Fancamp side only, please delete. However, I argue keep it here since Fancamp is sharing with Noront and I feel both will rise on the same tide.
