Ed, I still think that the BoD of NOT have a plan to combat a hostile takeover or from one happening. There's too many sharp people on the NOT BoD. I know, I know, some say they're a little too sharp, but in this case that may be a very good thing.

I also believe that NOT will eventually go to someone other than Cliffs and it's been set in stone for a while. I think Cliffs knows this and wouldn't (couldn't) afford a bidding war with a major player. I may end up being blindsided by this thinking, but there it is.

Just looking at the BoD of NOT and where they've come from tells me this thing is going to a major player and it's NOT going to be cheap. The institutional investors don't just want a couple of bucks out of possibly the richest mining area in a century. These guys' eyeballs are big dollar signs IMO and they want as much as they can possibly get for their shares and nothing less will do.

Yes, our SP is wallowing (a new word, just made it up). And NOT hasn't released any blockbusters. In fact, they've only released infill info. and limited updates. There MUST be more to tell, regardless of technical problems.

I think they're waiting for the right moment to release 'sets' of information. Just my opinion of course.
