Deep Drills

Did anyone ever find out what the exact problem was with the Deep Drills, causing the delay in release of assay results?

I wrote to Joanne Jobin last week. (see below)

Will let you know if she replies.

Hi Joanne

Hope you are having a good summer, with some very nice vacation time.

I haven't been following Noront's activities as closely as I used to, but expect that substantial progress continues on all fronts.

Question: Is the continued delay of assay results due to a problem with the deep drills not being able to lift up the nickel cores because the cores are much heavier at the deeper depths at which we are drilling?

And is so, were these 2 special Deep Drills not custom designed for lifting core out of such depths?
