Your speculation Khareema makes most sense to me, Thanks.

However I prefer to modify your idea #1 from another hole 49 to 'Results Of Extension' of hole 49 by the deep drills. This news is long over due and everyone plus their pet poodle would have their ears out for any whisper regarding such, so that is most likely what is transpiring.
