I think JJ walked. And I agree with your points about Irwin. He's still in the background.

JJ was the one that got Wes the job. Why she would walk is the question. But I do think she was in over her head. She owned a "communications & marketing" company before joining NOT. But her efforts at communicating in the press sometimes showed examples of errors and typos.

She'll get back on her feet. She has skills and is a "looker". But she was out of her league with effluent at NOT. As wee know from the previous histories of these guys, they don't seem too squeaky clean.
