On many occasions when senior executive leaves a company unexpectedly the boss steps in to fill the gap until a replacement is found. I believe JJ gave no warning and now Wes is filling in by answering e-mails. If this was planned we would have a new PR person ready to go before JJ vacated the spot.
IF we take too much time finding a replacement then I believe are plans may be cast in stone. You need PR person to market the company like NOT. You don't need one if you are in the process of selling the company.
I believe CLF negotiated with both NOT and PRB to set things up to take out both companies. The word CLF is very important when mentioned in the PRB camp. I wonder how important CLF is for in the NOT camp.
