The goal is profitable production. To get there one has to develop a mine.
To do that one has to find and prove up an economical resource.
We already have an economical resource. The so called 'development' was proving up the resource as a precursor to a feasability study.
Having drilled enough of Eagle, we move on to find more in the immediate vicinity. There is no contradiction in this action but normal progression.
The FWR offer was just that, nothing wrong with an attempt at working together with our neighbours. FWR eventually got a better deal from bigger money, good for them.
There was no attempt, or implication, to develop infrastructure because we would not be doing so on our own nor this soon. What we have done is elicit the community and government for the eventual development of such.
The new drills may be fancy but with such a learning curve is to be expected and it is commom to have teething problems with new projects.
