"The best deal offered to FWR shareholders was to take Noront shares. I stand by that assessment, even in hindsight."
I fully agree on that, Lar. I think we missed a historic opportunity. That move (FWR-NORONT merger) would have make everything different. Now Spider and Freewest properties (chromite + all the rest) are in the hands of a medium-sized american major, which will dictate its pace as regards to consolidation, infrastructures, etc...
That said, this is now History. We can't change it. Now, build on reality! Cliffs is a good and well managed company, and is the master on board.
And while we're at it, lets address a few words to Noront's old guard detractors. Rosseau's putch is also History. Please read my lips: RICHARD NEMIS IS GONE. WESLEY HANSON IS THE NEW CEO.
Now let this wonderful investment opportunity we have the chance to be in reveals its true value. Sorry to tell, but it may still take a lot of patience, even if you thought there is no more available. Crazydik's attitude is the right one. It may be 5 years before we cash the 2-digit bagger, but in the meantime, one has to stop staring every hour at the stock to see if it grew more than the other stock next door, or retracted a few millimeters from the last time it was watered.
To borrow a citation from a brilliant and refreshing author I truly respect, we all have to "Get a grip!".
