FWR: you write:
"I'm not sure those risks have been getting worse in the last few months/years as our share price has steadily declined - so what gives?"
Answer: You are looking at a REAL DEAL.
RULE NUMBER SIX: IF THIS IS A REAL DEAL, THEN YOU ARE LIKELY TO BE THE LAST PERSON TO BE NOTIFIED OR WILL BE DRIVEN OUT AT THE LOWER PRICES."
I'm sure the investors in Rim thought the same "what gives" when the share price hit 83 cents several times in the year of 1998. What was strange (snicker), was the brutality of the price movement at it's peak of harshness just right before the product was launched to the market. Rim's share price was higher during the device's developement and went to it's lowest level after it was done, tested, exposed to the anal-ists, had all at RIM cheering ,pumped and counting their money.
Our share price was higher before:
(1) we tripled the deposit
(2) when metal prices were lower
(3) before infill drilling proved BETTER GRADES
(4) Before JJJ zone went from 1km to 3KM
(5) before Cliff's moved in (isn't it cheaper to share infrastructure with someone?)..guess not.
(6) During the blockade. That's right folks our share price was higher during the bockade.
(7) Before we stated : the word Accurately and depth of nearly 2 kilometers
Recent geophysical interpretation of historical data, which the Company's geoscientists believe accurately maps the untramafic host rocks, extends the highly prospective ultramafic-granodiorite contact to a depth of nearly two kilometers where our deep drilling program is focused.
At the same time, the interpretation identified numerous target areas within 200 to 300 metres of Eagle's Nest with excellent potential to host mineralization "
(8) Our price was higher before the government started taking an interest and saying things like Ontario hasn't seen this in 100 years.
(9) Our price was higher before the gov't spoke about 45 million to train aboriginals for the ROF and hiring a ROF co-ordinator
(10) our price was higher before the ROF made the papers and awareness spread.
Really, are we any different that 83 cent RIM in the Fall of 1998. Take a look at RIM's chart in 1999 to see what happened after the fall of 1998.
It all seems backwards doesn't it. The more the risk is lowered the lower the price goes? Pants on and then the underwear? Actually, it feels like they are trying to take all our clothes now that the summer is drawing to a close and the chill in the air is coming back.
