The fact of the matter that a read/undread message feature is very difficult to implement on high traffic sites b/c of the enormous stress it places on the entire system. Think about it. Such a feature would have to make real time read calculations across every HUB tens of thousands of times per day.

This is why you don't see similar apps on Yahoo Finance, Google Finance, Raging Bull and other finance sites with discussion forums.

However, we can look into a favourite message application, to help members keep a record of their all time favourite posts.

We will forward this to our development team and determine whether this feature would be feasible given the structure of our site.
