Everyone is starting to talk like they expect a low ball buyout from CLF and an easy win for them. What happened to all the chatter from as little as 2 weeks ago. when no one would even consider a $5 offer?

In truth, the mood here is very similar to June last year, just before hole 49 news came out, resulting in a tripling of the SP.

IF there was an offer coming down, the scavengers would have picked up on it by now, just as they did with FWR and SPQ. They would know, as we do, that an offer would have a premium attached, and would logically be buying up any shares they could. Look at SPQ, where they bought up tens of millions of shares just for a half cent gain.

I have no doubt there is something in the wind, but pretty sure it won't be a buyout. It is now AGM season, and for sure the likes of Irwin won't let this charade continue for another year, so should be an interesting few weeks ahead of us.
