Ekwan also was mentioned by Hoov in the following post dated Jul 20,2010

"I posted about Ekwan after my Esker Camp site visit. There was alluvial gold discovered nearly 20 years ago, on the Ekwan River. The recent aerial geophysics didn't reveal anything prospective in the way of sulphide targets, but it did show some structures that might be the lode source for the alluvial gold. It was one of Jim Atkinson's projects, to follow up on the placer gold.
