Mini documentary for Webequie

A mini documentary has been prepared covering the tactics Aggressive First Nations are taking along with Progressive companies that are changing the face of the North. In the “Ring of Fire” area, multiple First Nations are demanding they be taken into account when it comes to development, Tribute Minerals agreed and signed a unique agreement with the Webequie community in a historic first.

No media is currently allowed onsite to the camp and this mini documentary covers the situation that currently exists in Webequie along with an interview with the blockade leaders. This First Nation wants to work with companies and not against them and Theymedia presents what they feel is a balanced view of the situation.

The video was filmed in early February and the meeting depicted was a mix of Government and private companies including Neil Novak of Spider Resources, Donald Hoy vice president of Freewest Resources, Ian Brodie-Brown of Tribute Minerals, Richard Fink of Cliff Natural Resources, Wes Hanson and Chief Glen Nolan of Noront Resources, Chief Cornelius Wabasse and Councilors Harry and Glen Wabasse along with Roy Spence and Tommy Shewaybick, Michael Fox of Fox High Impact Consulting and Christine Kaszycki Assistant Deputy Minister, Mines and Minerals Division and David de Launay Assistant Deputy Minister, Ministry of Natural Resources.
