Noront has always been the big dog in the Ring Of Fire. When they made the offer for FWR, they in effect stated to Cliff's, that they were the competition, not the dinner.

I have to refer back to the members on NOT's BoD. Some of these people are or were very powerful in the financial and/or mining sectors. Absolutely no offense intended to Mac Watson at FWR, but NOT's BoD & management is a huge giant in comparison.

Cliff's has been rumored to be a takeover target itself. And that may happen before even Noront gets consumed by somebody, if at all. Let's not forget that Noront is preparing the feasability study (into month four of 12) on Eagle One. Will they mine it themselves, contracting out the work of course ? It is still quite possible this may occur. I won't bet all my money on it, but I'll keep that in mind.

I'd be very interested to know the exact numbers that institutional investors hold right now. Not the published amount of, I think it was 14% or something ? The real amount is what I'd like to know. I personally think it's gone down, perhaps way down. Or certainly, it's been changing hands.

I wonder about stuff, like is Rosseau still in ? I'm not sure of the other two I'm thinking of, so I won't say their names for that reason, but I thought that at least one other was out. I know that I could get this info., if I was willing to shell out a few thousand at least, but I'm not going to do that. I feel that this info. should be available for free or a small fee, but that's just my opinion.

Maybe, just maybe, Retail holds more of a % than we think or know. And just so you know, I'm NOT going anywhere with that line of thinking. I'm just saying, that's all.

I was ecstatic that Wes & Paul showed up at the ROF Classic, talked with investors outside, had some beers, bought a round for everyone and then even offered to speak to the guests at dinner. I never expected any of that. It was a bonus. But was it just a bonus or a real good move by the CEO & COO of NOT. As far as I could tell, everyone was pretty happy that they were there.

So there ya go. Interesting to me anyways.
