When one looks at Hudbay's sphere of interest to date, it would seem likely that the object of their interest is the properties that BMK holds out west. However it is expressly stated that the monies raised are slated for the ROF area. This will serve notice though, on all the other majors, that maybe it is time to make a move before you get trumped by some smaller player. If one reaches back to the process that culminated in Inco taking Voisey's bay, There was a similar strategic buyin by Tech that scared both Inco and Falconbridge into getting off their collective behinds.
