died tonight at 9:15.
he was 93.
he was a wonderful man with a tremendous sense of humour who always had a smile for everyone.
it was heart wrenching but rewarding for me to see the workers at his retirement home come in the past 5 days to pay their respects to a man in a coma. there is no doubt in my mind he heard their prayers and wishes.
we watched our last ball game together and he left early, probably knowing the yankees were going to win.
i had left him briefly earlier that night and asked him to wait for me before he left. he waited for which i will be forever thankful.
no thumbs up please. i needed to tell you as that's what's important in life.
cheers
