I think you are right here K about NORONT having the potential of being a stand alone developement. The problem I have is the miserable attempts by Wes to convey how that would happen to the investment community. As for Cliffs not having "anything to do with anything NOT", well, business is business. You hear of hostile takeovers everyday. I would say that a hostile takeover would probably describe any Cliffs/NOT interaction, but much of it is posturing. Cliffs will have to pay a lot of money because NOT is worth a lot of money. KInross recently bought Redback Mining for $7.1 billion. BHP is trying to take out Potash Corp for $36.8 billion. Hostile takeovers get pretty amicable once the money is right. I think the price of nickel has a lot of room for increase when you compare the other metals such as copper, lead, zinc and aluminum. NOT is very quiet, it has increased its value in the last short while and when price of Ni recovers more fully, the dynamic will change.
